Mandeville Seafood Festival July 4th Weekend Cancelled!

The GMSA is NOT associated with the "Mandeville City Seafood Festival" at Fontainebleau State Park

Mandeville Seafood Festival

March 19, 2013

The Greater Mandeville Seafood Association announces that it wil no longer produce the Mandeville Seafood Festival, including the 2013 festival. Although this celebration of south Louisiana culture has been a 4th of July staple on the Northshore for 35 years, the GMSA board has suffered a loss of sponsorship and revenue over the past several years due to the tough economic climate.

The board would like to thank all of our vendors, sponsors, and volunteers for all of their dedication over the years. They have greatly appreciated all of the wonderful assistance provided by Fontainebleau State Park, the Lt. Governor's Office, the City of Mandeville, St. Tammany Parish's Sheriff's Department, and Louisiana State Police Troop L. The board also expresses warm gratitude to the thousands of locals and visitors who celebrated with us since 1978.

For the Board of Directors,

Bill Dobson
GMSA President

Produced by the Greater Mandeville Seafood Association, Inc, The Mandeville Seafood Festival, established in 1978, was the oldest festival held in St. Tammany Parish. The Seafood Association is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation, with a 100% volunteer membership, including the Officers, who contributed countless hours without receiving any monetary compensation.

The festival association has donated over $2,000,000.00 to various Mandeville area charities and causes.

Please support our sponsors. They made our festival possible for many years.
