Splash Shack

Go for a round in the Human Gyro

Petting Zoo

In His Name

Pony Rides!

The Splash Shack water-balloon attack center pairs up kids versus parents with wet and happy results! Facing off across a fully wheelchair accessible site, opponents can "douse their spouse" or "soak their sibs" using huge slingshots. Housed safely inside home bases, the "soakee" gets the water but not the impact. This is addictive!

Our other EXTREME fun includes a duo of Bungee Trampolines that propel the rider to catch as much sky as he or she wishes. It provides a safe, soaring sensation for kindergartners and great-grandparents alike. Our triple faced Rock Wall offers a competitive challenge to those who want more of a work-out, and the double Human Gyroscope (always better to ride BEFORE one samples the gumbo…repeat: BEFORE not after) is a blast!

On Sunday, July 4, we add "kids' lagniappe" to the Lagniappe! In addition to EXTREME events, we bring in pony and horseback rides; cooking demos (where you EAT your mistakes); face painting; confetti eggs; hair-shock coloring; sandy candy edible art; a tattoo parlor (no needles, Mom!); a petting zoo; kid crafts; and much more.

At noon on Sunday, we again fire off our annual Mandeville Idol Contest! Located on the Dew Drop stage, just across the path from Louisiana Lagniappe, pre-registered youngsters compete for cash prizes. And boy, do these kids have pipes - amazing talent! And if YOU'VE got what it takes to be a Mandeville Idol, check out our online info and send in your CD!

Throughout the entire party weekend, the Louisiana Lagniappe area's Dew Drop Stage serves up non-stop music that we dare you to not dance to. Its blues will have all of us shimmying shoulders, but it is entertainment that's great for all ears! Bring your chairs, bring your kids - bring your dancing shoes! The Dew Drop is non-stop! Check out the line-up online or via Facebook.

Proceeds from Louisiana Lagniappe benefit the KidSense project, sponsored by Angels on Earth Foundation. KidSense designs and donates special needs playgrounds to local public schools, so your FUN helps the kids right next door!
